Join us in Broome on the 7th of June to celebrate the arrival of the world's largest population of Humpback whales.
Beginning on Cable Beach, we will form a life-sized human whale for an aerial photograph. Listen to whale song, have your face painted, and stake out your own whale tail for our IFAW whale tail project, and be photographed for "Tails for Whales" to help protect Humpback whales. View your photos on our web site.
Join us at the Boulevarde Shopping Centre for thechildrens' whale art competition, and adults' whale photography competition, both with great prizes.
In the afternoon, join us for a fish cake cook-off at Matso's with wonderful prizes, a sausage sizzle, Sunday Session music, and finally a picnic, wildlife and whale films on the grass at Cable Beach.
A great family day out!
Sponsored by Kimberley Whale Watching, Sentosa Charters and The Department of Environment and Conservation (Broome).
Special thanks to local Kimberley businesses; Eco Beach, Broome Heliocopters, Printing Ideas, The Kimberley Bookshop, Matso's and Monsoon Gallery.
